About Summer Internship Project
The Summer Internship Project (SIP) is an experiential learning component of the Post Graduate degree program and a mandatory credit course. This two-month project is strategically slotted between the two academic years to provide a platform for students to integrate classroom knowledge with practical applications.
The SIP aims to provide students with first-hand experience of real-time situations in a professional environment. It is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful work related to a student’s field of study, giving them the opportunity for career exploration and skill development.
Successful candidates often receive placement offers (PPOs) from the companies where they complete their internships, as the program helps employers build a pipeline for future full-time employees.
